| Savior
"I'm so sorry", I tell you
My eyes are brimming with tears
From my voice you can hear it's true
My heart is spilling its fears.
"Everything's my fault", I say
Because everything I feel is wrong
I have to go, I know no other way
And I feel that I don't belong
I say my good-byes and weep
As I turn and look over the edge
And I prepare to take the leap
Soon no longer with life to allege
Soon it will all come to an end
And there will be nothing left to save
Maybe all I needed was a friend
I guess nobody could be that brave
But then I hear your voice
And I don't think I understand
But you've given me a choice
And you're holding out your hand
And you don't say a thing
But your face says it all
You're taking me under your wing
You're not letting me take the fall
In My Mirror
I look in the mirror
And here's what I see
A person I hate
Staring back at me...
It would be easier to be myself...
If I were someone else...
Ashamed of my reflection
Nothing I do is right
It hurts to be who I am
Battling this losing fight...
What else can I be...?
But who I am? Me...
The me that I see is weak
And I know what I see to be true
I know a mirror can't lie
Everyone else sees it too...
I can't look in the mirror, I don't like what I see
I can barely stand... Me...
Is beauty in the eye of the beholder?
Because I don't see beauty at all
Everything I see is ugly
In the mirror on my wall
What's on the inside doesn't matter
If nobody cares to look...
But I guess your eyes are different
Because I know when you look at me
You see past everything I was
To everything that I can be
I can't believe what you want,
Is what you see in me... Just 2 poems I've written. Tell me what you think. | |

Been told by several teachers I have enough talent to be published
And if I keep improving one day be...I forget what it's called, but Robert Frost was the last. | |
